Because of year ending and Christmas there is lot of half price sale and 20% discount sale running so this is perfect time for shopping 🛍️ I highly recommend Asda for great deals. …
Worst asda ever. No stock in freezers. Shocking. I was unable to do a weekly shop as I couldn't find anything I buy. Fresh salads, no kids freezer products they didn't even have jam doughnuts. No asda smart price. Aldi all the way from now on
This is one of the better Asda’s I’ve been to. I enjoy the fact that they offer what seems to be their entire clothes line in this store, as well as two isles of toys, and homewares, electronics and electric devices. There are plenty of additional services available instore, including the usual returns for other retailers, optician, toilets, locksmith, drycleaning etc. There is a McDonald’s instore as well, which proved useful when my toddler was suddenly struck with hunger near the end of our shopping excursion.
There were no bags available at the Scan & Go checkout option; in this instance, we would have liked to purchase a few bags. Overall, the experience was “higher-end Asda” - the isles were crowded and the fruit & veg were not great quality, as usual, but the store was what I assume could be the best Asda experience one can have.
Staff at checkout were friendly… so friendly that I found myself wishing the lady would stop sucking up to another customer’s kid and pay attention to me already, since no other staff members were around at the time. Self checkout almost always require “assistance” from a staff member and it usually seems like Asda does not have enough people around to tend to these “assistance” requirements. Even so, it was clear that staff at this particular branch were doing the best they could.
Very large stores with tonnes of parking. Can be hard to get around as the organisation lacks cohesion. Prices are okay, some items are quite expensive in comparison to other shops. Great opening hours to make it accessible to all. Lots of different checkouts so usually not a long queue
Shopped at Fulwood this morning. No multpack Seabrook crisps,no cans of velvet stout,no bottles Theaksto Old Peculiar,No Lemon and Marmite oatcakes.Becoming a common theme at Fulwood.I also go to Asda Chorley where these issues do not arise. Why the difference ?
I do use Asda stores quite a lot as I enjoy the food range they stock.
I was disappointed today as I went with my disabled partner and we used a disabled trolley on the front of her wheelchair, only to find when we had done our shopping the wide aisle disabled checkout was completely unmanned.
We couldn’t fit through the normal checkouts so we had to go through the trolley self scan.
This was very busy and it was a struggle to get through with a wheelchair and trolley at the same time.
May I remind your company it has a duty of care towards disabled people and on this occasion it failed badly.
Sunday 26/11, a woman stole my phone from hand in front of the manager, it's all on CCTV. When I reacted she played the victim, and of course because I'm a foreigner she asked me to leave the store. A lawsuit is coming against you Shannon (store manager), who refused to even check the cameras! Well done Asda for employing such good managers
Never have any baskets available. Weird turnstile barriers to try and keep you in even if you decide not to buy anything in the likely event what you want isn't in stock. Generally poor quality meats compared to other supermarkets. Lights in the fridge are often off so you can't see what is actually in there. Bland hot counter food that is way overpriced for what it is.
The only thing it has going for it is it's a 24/7 shop. Petrol isn't even that cheap here anymore. Better off driving the extra mile and a bit to Sainsbury's in Deepdale. Incredible how much it's gone downhill over the past few years.
As of late, it's gone downhill, always out of freezer meals and granola, and you wait ages to be served on the pizza counters. may need to go a bit further and try sainsburys.
Always so many cages from staff filling shelves. Kind of annoying to shop with the out, but also required for them to stock the shelves. Would be better if isles were wider.
